Pete Doherty has now arrived at West London Magistrates Court where he will face charges of breaching his bail this morning (August 22).

The Babyshambles singer arrived at 9.30am (BST) in a police van and made an “aggressive gesture” to the scrum of photographers who had gathered outside the Hammersmith court.

Doherty will now be taken to Court 2 after being arrested in the early hours of yesterday morning and being held overnight in an east London police station. District Judge Susan Williams will officiate, while Doherty's Babyshambles bandmates bassist Drew McConnell and drummer Adam Ficek are in the public gallery to support their singer.

The bassist told NME.COM that the band were "hoping he gets bail".

The singer had been allowed to remain free ahead of his sentencing for drugs charges on September 4, and was able to play V Festival with Babyshambles at the weekend (Augsut 18-19), but now magistrates will review the situation.
