Pete Doherty 'did not attempt suicide'

Babyshambles' manager says recent suicide claims are false

Following claims that Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty attempted suicide while in rehab, his manager Andy Boyd has refuted the claims, declaring them “totally untrue”.

Boyd added that Johnny Jeannevol, who made the claims in an interview in the News Of The World, is not Doherty’s minder, as he was described.

Doherty left Wiltshire’s Cloud House rehab centre last week.

He is due to face sentencing on October 26 for driving illegally while in possession of a number of drugs, including heroin and crack cocaine.
