Tabloid Hell: Babyshambles vs Kate Moss
Was the supermodel Pete Doherty's Yoko after all?

First there was Yoko Ono and the accusations she split up The Beatles, then Spinal Tap's Janine enshrined the idea of bands hating their lead singer’s girlfriends.
Despite reportedly giving up her claims to Babyshambles’ songwriting royalties, it looks like Kate Moss has joined the bad band girlfriends' club today (November 2).
According to Babyshambles drummer Adam Ficek, the supermodel was a bad influence on the group.
“When Kate was with Pete that was all everybody cared about, and our music suffered,” he told The Mirror. “Kate was detrimental to the band. It was all about the lead singer and his girlfriend, not the rest of the band.”
Sounds a bit like someone was feeling a little bit left out – oh well, it's all rosy now.
“Since she’s gone we’ve surprised ourselves at how well we’re doing,” declared the drummer. “Pete’s much more focused now. There’s no way we would be invited to play at MTV with the likes of Snoop Dogg and Amy Winehouse if we were how we were when Kate was still around.”
Of course, and the fact Doherty has now cleaned up his drugs habit... no, you're right, blame the supermodel.
