New Babyshambles side project launched
One of the foursome has launched a new musical outlet
The project has seen Ficek recording lo-fi, acoustic-based songs, one of which he has posted on a new MySpace page for the project, where fans can hear it now.
On the MySpace site Ficek writes that Roses, Kings, Castles are influenced by , Seattle band Maths And Physics Club, and The Television Personalities.
He also explains that the project was born of having long periods of time on tour in which it is easy to get bored, so songwriting helps pass the time. He also joked that the project was his “Ringo moment”.
“It's nice to have an outlet,” he wrote. “A place to build and air melodies and words before I take them to the band.”
