Pete Doherty has named the song that Babyshambles are working on with Amy Winehouse.
Although the singer is currently not playing live due to health issues, Doherty confirmed he had been working with the star just before the band’s show in Brighton (November 28).
Speaking to NME.COM Doherty explained: “Who would I most like to collaborate with? Amy Winehouse. We were working on something last night actually. It’s called ‘You Hurt The Ones You Love’."
Babyshambles, meanwhile, also waded into the debate over who should manage the England football team.
After admitting the situation was "depressing", bassist Drew McConnell suggested Doherty’s old collaborator Wolfman would be a good choice.
“You know Wolfman used to play professional football for [League 1 team] Gillingham?” added Doherty, “but he’s in hospital at the moment on a drip from alcoholism. He’ll be all right if he stops drinking.”
