Pete Doherty will make his live comeback with his band Babyshambles with a gig at the London Kentish Town Forum on May 13.
The gig will be the first Doherty and his band will have played since the singer/guitarist was released from Wormwood Scrubs prison today (May 6).
Pete Doherty was released from jail at 7am (BST) this morning after serving 29 days of a 14-week sentence for beaching probation. Doherty told reporters that he was clean of drugs and showed a certificate from medical authorities to back the claim up.
Doherty has also announced that his forthcoming solo show at the London Royal Albert Hall has been rescheduled for July 12.
Tickets for the Babyshambles gig go on sale tomorrow morning (May 7) at 9am. The Royal Albert Hall show has sold out. Original tickets remain valid for the new date.
