Following Pete Doherty's release from jail yesterday (May 6), the Babyshambles frontman has posted a new song online.

Doherty has posted a YouTube video featuring a new Babyshambles demo of the song 'Maybelline'. You can hear the song and watch the video by clicking below.

The video sees Pete Doherty and model Irina Lazareanu, who he has been romantically involved with in the past, acting out a short murder mystery film.

The song is expected to feature on the forthcoming new Babyshambles album, which the band will begin work on soon.

I like it. Show's promise. Pete's face when he's getting strangled is priceless! He's wasted not being in the acting world!

Wow. I didn't think it was possible for me to care any less about this junkie piece of shit than I already did. But I was wrong.Evidently the talentless hacks of the NME still think the sun shines out of his arse though. The quicker he's found decaying in some squat somewhere, the better.
