Drew McConnell has apologised to Babyshambles fans for not performing at this year’s Hove Festival.

Speaking to NME.COM in a video interview at last weekend’s (July 18-20) Benicassim Festival, the newly-mohicaned star also described their Benicassim set as "awesome".

He also revealed that his other project with members of Arctic Monkeys and The Reverend, MONGREL, are also working on new material and are hoping to do a number of shows in each of the band members' hometowns later this year.
