BACKSTREET'S BACK! Backstreet Boys Tickets

AJ McLean looks like he'll be rejoining the group's world tour after receiving treatment for alcohol abuse and depression...

BACKSTREET'S BACK!

BACKSTREET BOY AJ McLEAN is set to check out of rehab after a month-long treatment for alcohol abuse and depression.

His bandmate Howie Dorough said he would be out and ready to kick off the Backstreet Boys massive trek around the US for their first date in Milwaukee on August 24.

"A.J. looks great - he's put on a little bit of weight, his hair is platinum blond. He's really psyched to get back out there - he can't wait," Howie told MTV on Friday (August 17).

Dorough added that the time off - Backstreet Boys have already postponed their tour twice while McLean received treatment - turned out to be a blessing for the band.

"It was definitely an unexpected break here that we had. We took advantage of it - we're all rested up now, we're psyched up, we're ready to get back out there... [the break] gave us a chance to really re-evaluate our lives and our careers and our health."
