BAD MANNERS frontman BUSTER BLOODVESSEL is seriously ill in hospital in ITALY after collapsing onstage, it has been reported.

According to BBC news, the frontman, real name Douglas Trendle, collapsed on stage during a show while on a European tour. He is reported to have been taken to hospital in Perugia in the north of the country, suffering a strangulated hernia.

The 40 year-old’s condition is thought to be complicated because of his size, and although Italian doctors say he needs an urgent operation, he may not survive surgery because of his 30 stone weight.

A spokesperson for Bloodvessel said: “He is very worried and wants to come home but the doctors have said they must operate. Unfortunately he is so big that any operation could be extremely dangerous.”

Bad Manners were most popular in the early and mid ’80s, and his band had numerous hits, with songs including ‘Can Can’, ‘Lip Up Fatty’ and ‘Special Brew’.
