Badly Drawn Boy to play in chip shop

Badly Drawn Boy is to play a gig in a chip shop to launch his new album.

The final venue will be decided by a fan vote from a shortlist of ten chip shops around the country.

Chippies including Ann’s Fry in Glasgow and Toffs in London are amongst those in consideration.

The cover art of Damon Gough’s new album, ‘Back In The UK’, features the Mancunian Mercury Prize winner outside a chip shop.

Votes for the following chip shops can be cast at Badlydrawnboy.co.uk/:

Brett's Fish Restaurant - Leeds
Mr Chips - Hereford
Toffs - London
Ocean Fish Bar - Wolverhampton
