BADLY DRAWN BOY ON NET-ONLY COMP

Badly Drawn Boy aka DAMON GOUGH and DJ/remixer ANDY VOTEL both feature on an internet-only mini-LP of exclusive tracks by all artists on their own label Twisted Nerve.

Called 'Bends For 166 Miles', the record is available only through the Twisted Nerve website from April 1.

The pair had originally planned to release it only in the Republic of Ireland (the title relates to the distance between Twisted Nerve's Manchester home and Dublin) but it was decided to sell it through www.twistednerve.co.uk to help launch the website.

The new or previously difficult to find tracks featured on the seven track mini-album will be: Dakota Oak 'I Love Buses & Girls', Alfie 'James' Dream', DOT 'Feet On The Monitors', Andy Votel 'Pickpocket', Sirconical 'Cottonopolis', Mum & Dad 'Monster Truk', and Badly Drawn Boy 'Jewelthief'.

All the artists are to perform at the official launch at Dublin Whelan's on April 1. Badly Drawn Boy, who's billed as the 'extra special April Fool Guest', may or may not reveal new tracks from his long awaited solo long player during his performance.

Meanwhile, Andy Votel joins Ian Brown as support for his April 27 show at Blackpool Empress Ballrooms.
