TWICE AROUND THE BLOCK

The new Badly Drawn Boy single will be a re-release of 'ONCE AROUND THE BLOCK', nme.com can reveal.

According to the official Twisted Nerve newsletter, the single, which featured on the Mercury Music Award winning album 'The Hour Of Bewilderbeast', will be released on November 13 through Twisted Nerve/XL.

It is expected that the single will be backed by new remixes of the album track 'The Shining' across the formats.

'Once Around The Block' was originally released in August 1999 on two 7" formats and CD. The original release also featured the track 'Another Pearl', which eventually ended up as a single itself in June this year.

Badly Drawn Boy is currently on a UK tour, which calls at Sheffield University tonight (October 13), before playing: Liverpool L2 (14) Glasgow QMU (15) Newcastle University (18) Wolverhampton Wulfrun (20) Bristol University (21) Cardiff University (22) Cambridge Junction (23) Norwich Waterfront (25) Brighton Concorde (26) London's Shepherd's Bush Empire (27, 30) Manchester Academy (28)
