Basement Jaxx announce UK tour – ticket details

The duo release brand new single 'Back 2 The Wild' on May 20

Basement Jaxx have announced plans for a UK tour, set to take place this winter.

News of the run of five dates follows the unveiling of their first new material in over two years. The duo will release 'Back 2 The Wild' on May 20. The song features vocals from Miss Emma Lee and Baby Chay and the horns were recorded in Kenya. Click above to listen to the song.

Following their live return at this summer's Kendal Calling festival (July 26-28) at Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, Basement Jaxx will embark on a five-date UK tour in November and December. The short run of dates starts at the O2 Academy Leeds on November 28 before visiting Manchester, Newcastle and Birmingham, winding up at London's O2 Academy Brixton on December 6. Tickets go on sale May 10 at 9am [BST].

Basement Jaxx released their sixth studio album, 'Zephyr' in 2009.
