Bat For Lashes‘ Natasha Khan has covered Rihanna and Calvin Harris’ Number One hit ‘We Found Love’.

The singer’s third studio LP, ‘The Haunted Man’, is released on October 23 and, in a recent interview with Spinner, she admitted that the fraught creative sessions for the album had made her feel “desperate”.

She said: “I felt desperate about the record quite a lot of the time – that it wasn’t coming easily. I almost lost my way. Maybe the hardest records are the best in the end. But this record definitely made me bleed for it.”

Khan also spoke again about her decision to pose nude for the album’s cover, claiming she chose a “specifically unsexy pose” to make a point about the music industry’s treatment of female artists and said was surprised at the controversy it had garnered.

Khan will embark on a 12 date UK tour in late October and early November.
