Turbo Fruits complete debut album

Turbo Fruits are gearing up for the release of their self-titled debut album, set for release in July.

The Nashville band is a side project of Jonas Stein and John Eatherly of Be Your Own Pet, currently opening for Arctic Monkeys in the US.

Recorded last year at Nashville’s Battle Tapes studio, the record will come out on Ecstatic Peace, the label owned by Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth.

Turbo Fruits will play a handful of shows in the UK this summer, including a yet to be confirmed festival appearance. Meanwhile, they are confirming a small US tour which will include a July 26 performance in New York at intimate Lower East Side venue Cake Shop.
