Liam Gallagher: 'I would be up for an Oasis reunion in 2015'
Beady Eye man says he would love to celebrate the 20th anniversary of '(What's The Story) Morning Glory' if he can put his 'shit aside' with Noel
Despite the singer recently issuing legal action against his brother over comments made about the band pulling out of the V Festival in 2009, the Beady Eye frontman said he would rejoin the band if they could put their differences behind them.
He told Rolling Stone magazine:
In 2015, if we can put our shit aside, we can tour and play the album in its entirety for the 20th anniversary. I'd be up for that, if it's on our terms. There's got to be two-way respect.
Noel also recently said he may have been too hasty quitting the band and said he would have loved to have played their seminal album in its entirety in 2015.
Liam added: "He's the one that keeps mentioning, I want to put him out of his misery. But I think he needs to do his solo thing first and realise he's not that good without his brother. He's got to find out for himself. I'm up for it – I'm not desperate for it. If it doesn't work out, I don't give a shit, I'm quite happy with [current band] Beady Eye."
Noel meanwhile is on course to top the UK album chart with his debut solo album 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' this weekend.
Check back on NME.COM on Sunday (October 23) at 7pm to see if he is Number One.
