Beady Eye frontman Liam Gallagher has said he wants to make a movie about Oasis' story.

The singer, who is currently working on his first movie The Longest Cocktail Party, with his 1 Productions company, is keen to shoot a warts and all biopic starting with the band's famous bust up in Paris which led to his brother Noel Gallagher walking out on the band.

He told The Sun:

Sometimes, when we've had a few drinks, we sit about telling stories and talk about putting them in an Oasis film. I'd be up for that.

He added: "But I'd start it with Paris. I wouldn't want it to end on such a bummer. I'd start at the end and work my way backwards.

"It'd be a long film but it'd be a film worth watching, believe me. It'd be a funny film and all."

The Beady Eye frontman is continuing to work on his debut film The Longest Cocktail Party, which centres on The Beatles' late publicist Derek Taylor and will be directed by 24 Hour Party People man Michael Winterbottom.

Gallagher recently said that Oasis will return in the future because his brother Noel is "not that good" without him.
