Liam Gallagher has confirmed his band Beady Eye will definitely be playing Oasis songs next year.

The move comes following his brother Noel's decision to play tracks by their former band on his solo tour.

Liam told LA Weekly:

It takes balls to go onstage and not play Oasis songs. I don't miss those songs yet, but we're definitely going to play them on the next tour.

Gallagher's comments come after he recently hinted that he would play tracks by his former band next year.

He added: "We just wanted to get this album out and let people know who we are. As long as you don't let nostalgia take over, we'll definitely keep our eyes on the future. So we'll play two or three [Oasis songs]."

The Beady Eye man also reiterated that he would be open to an Oasis reunion to celebrate the 20th anniversary ofthe release of '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?' in 2015, but he'd only do it for the fans.

He added: "I'd do it for the right reasons. If the fans want to hear it, then I'd do it. I'm not doing it for the money, and that's not me being big-headed. I'd do it for the fans and I'd do it for the album, but that's basically it."
