Liam Gallagher has branded Kanye West a "fucking idiot" and has also made fun of the title of rapper's new album 'Yeezus'.

Speaking to GQ, the Beady Eye frontman teased the hip-hop star by discussing the incident in which he attacked a photographer after he was snapped banging his head on a street sign - you can watch footage of the accident by clicking below.

"I couldn't give a fuck what that fucking clowns gets up to," said Gallagher. "Have you seen when he bumped his head? He's coming out of the gym with that bird and there are geezers talking pictures. You have to put your head up and carry on walking. He's gone and walked straight into a fucking pole. You hear it go 'dink' and him tell people to stop taking pictures."

Mocking the religious connotations of the title 'Yeezus', Gallagher then continued:

He's a fucking idiot. You'll never see Jesus banging his head.

Yesterday, Gallagher admitted to NME that both Oasis and Beady Eye were "shit" names for bands. ''It was a shit name, but most band names are shit," he said of his former group. "Look at Beady Eye - shit fucking name. It wasn't just that [Swindon Oasis Leisure Centre] though. There was shop in the Manchester Arndale Market called Oasis that used to sell cool clothes too, and there was a taxi fucking rank round the corner called Oasis. It meant that we were out there, because we were different.''

Kanye West is set to officially release 'Yeezus' next week (June 18), but the LP leaked online yesterday (June 14). The tracklisting and contributors info was also revealed for the ten track record, showing that Daft Punk produced the tracks 'On Sight' and 'Black Skinhead' as well as helping out on 'Send It Up'.

Elsewhere, the song 'New Slaves' features Frank Ocean, 'Hold My Liquor' features Chief Keef and Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, the latter of whom co-wrote 'I'm In It', which features rapper Travis Scott. Kid Cudi guests on 'Guilt Trip' whilst the John Legend-penned 'Bound 2' features former Gap Band vocalist Charlie Wilson and 'Send It Up' sees a guest spot from Chicago rapper King L.
