Santogold working with Jay-Z, Beastie Boys, Roots Manuva
Santi White tells NME.COM everyone wants to duet with her
Santogold has revealed she is set to work with Jay-Z, Beastie Boys and Talking Heads' David Byrne.
The singer kicked off her latest round of collaborations teaming-up with Roots Manuva to perform a mash-up of her own 'Shove It' and his 'Buff Nuff' last week (the song is broadcast on T Mobile's 'Transmission' this Friday, July 25).
She then told NME.COM she has a series of collaborations planned.
"I'm going to do some recording on a project David Byrne's doing and I'm working on a track with the Beastie Boys for their record. I may also do something with Jay-Z, it's kind of secret - it's not for anything, it's just 'cause we want to."
For the full interview, plus details of her recording session with The Strokes' frontman Julian Casablancas, get this week's issue of NME, on UK newsstands from tomorrow (July 23).
