Beastie Boys, Arctic Monkeys to play Lollapalooza 'aftershows'
TV On The Radio also set for intimate Chicago gigs
Beastie Boys, The Decemberists, Arctic Monkeys and TV On The Radio are among the bands that are scheduled to play "aftershows" during the week of Lollapalooza 2009.
The Chicago festival runs August 7-9 at Grant Park and will include several gigs in smaller venues outside of the park throughout the week of the event.
Beastie Boys will kick things off a show at the Congress Theater on August 6, the same night that The Decemberists will perform at The Metro.
Arctic Monkeys are set to perform at The Metro the following night on August 7, while TV On The Radio will perform with Chairlift at a healthcare benefit for Colleen Malone at the Double Door.
Fleet Foxes, Lykke Li, The Raveonettes, Deerhunter and Dan Auerbach are also set to play aftershows throughout the week.
