BEASTIE BOYS rapper AD ROCK is to provide an exclusive DJ performance on the RADIO 1 BREEZEBLOCK later this month.
Ad Rock will DJ on the show, hosted by Mary Anne Hobbs, which is aired on November 27 between midnight-2.00am. The show will be streamed live via the Radio 1 website, www.bbc.co.uk/radio1.
Elsewhere, The Beastie Boys are the subjects of a photo exhibition in New York showcasing their history.
The exhibition will open on November 16 at Gavin Brown's Enterprise in Manhattan's Chelsea district.
The exhibition will showcase works by artists including Spike Jonze, Ricky Powell and Beastie Boys rapper Adam Yauch. The art on display will be sold in aid of a charity established by the Beastie Boys to support Tibet's struggle for independence from China.
