Beastie Boys' Adam Yauch is set to release a documentary about legendary Beat writer William S Burroughs and you can see a trailer for it by scrolling down.

Entitled William S Burroughs: A Man Within, the Yony Leyser film features the likes of Iggy Pop, Patti Smith and Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo.

Released by Yauch's production company Oscilloscope, the documentary will be shown in cinemas and on TV in the US, followed by a DVD release, reports IndieWire.com.

Burroughs, who died in 1997, was most famous for his 1959 novel The Naked Lunch, although as a spoken word performer worked with Nirvana's Kurt Cobain on the 1992 EP 'The "Priest" They Called Him' and even appeared in U2's 1997 video for 'Last Night On Earth'.
