HEATON SCRAPES THE BARREL

BEAUTIFUL SOUTH mainman PAUL HEATON has recorded a solo album under the moniker BISCUIT BOY, NME.COM can reveal.

Heaton has teamed up with former Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros members Martin Slattery and Scott Shileds on the record, titled 'Fat Chance', which is released on September 3 via Mercury.

The album will be preceded by a single, 'Mitch', on August 20.

The tracklisting for 'Fat Chance', which was completed in four weeks, is: '10 Lessons In Love'
'Mitch'
'Perfect Couple'
'Last Day Blues'
'Man's World'
'Like A Barstool Over The Head'
'Poems'
'If'
'The Real Blues'
'Proceed With Care'
'Man, Girl, Boy, Woman'
