Beck supported himself at his concert in Detroit on Saturday after his support band had to cancel their performance at the last minute.

The Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger had to pull out of their show at Detroit's Fox Theater after an illness among the duo of Sean Ono Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl. Consequently, Beck played a 10-song, 40-minute warm-up solo show of his more reflective songs, before returning with his regular live band for a 16-song main set, which included a cover of Donna Summer's 'I Feel Love'.

The tour resumes tonight (June 30) in New York, where The Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger are expected to resume their support run, before Beck plays festival shows at Electric Picnic, Bestival and Festival No 6 later this summer. Footage of Beck playing 'Hell Yes' from the Detroit show can be seen below.
