Beck asks fans to design album cover
The winner could be exhibited
Beck wants fans to design the cover of new album ’The Information’.
The LP, which is due out on October 2, will feature blank packaging and one of four sets of sticker sheets that allow fans to make whatever cover they want.
These can then be entered into a contest to select the best cover, with Beck judging the winner.
There are also plans to exhibit the winning design at an art gallery, reports Billboard.
As previously reported by NME.COM, ’The Information’ will contain a video for each of the 15 tracks. The first single will be 'Cell Phone's Dead' with a video directed by Michel Gondry.
The singer is currently streaming three songs from the album - 'Nausea','Strange Apparation' and 'Motorcade' - on Beck.com.
