'Odelay Deluxe' hits streets with some problems

Beck has issued an apology for releasing incorrect lyrics inside the first pressing of his 'Odelay Deluxe Reissue'.

The re-release of his landmark 1996 album was put out with un-proofed, incorrect lyrics that were reportedly taken off of a lyrics website.

In a statement issued today, Beck apologised for the "unfortunate oversight and is making arrangements for the corrected lyrics to be available gratis via Beck.com."

He went on to guarantee that subsequent pressings of the 'Odelay Deluxe Reissue' will include the corrected lyrics.

The two-disc set was released in the US on Tuesday (January 29) and features two never-before released tracks from the original 'Odelay' recording sessions, as well as 16 B-sides and compilation tracks that have never been released in the US.
