The record is just 30 minutes long

Beck's new Danger Mouse-produced album is set to be a short one.

The as-yet untitled follow-up to 2006's 'The Information' was recorded in just a few months since the pair convened in December 2007.

According to a press release, the album will be just over 30 minutes long, and the 10-song tracklisting is currently being finalised.

Beck is preparing for his headlining Hollywood Bowl performance in Los Angeles, set to take place on September 20. The show will be opened by Spoon and MGMT, and tickets go on sale May 10.

Meanwhile, Beck's festival activities will include slots at Austin City Limits, Outside Lands and Bumbershoot.

The Coral's Nightfreak LPwas around the same length and that was a winner.. Better than Magic and Medecine, anyway. I remember I played it loads when it came out.
