Beck could release a second album in 2014, reports Billboard.

The Los Angeles musician released his latest record 'Morning Phase' in February, six years after its predecessor 'Modern Guilt'. Speaking to US radio station KCRW during a live performance for the channel in Santa Monica, Beck revealed he'd already started working on a follow-up to his most recent album.

"I've been working on and off on a different set of songs," he explained. "They're more boisterous [than 'Morning Phase']. You're screwed with any kind of adjective but hopefully we'll get it out this year."

Meanwhile, it was recently confirmed that Beck would bring 'Morning Phase' to the UK during festival season, where he will headline two festivals. The singer will top the bill at Ireland's Electric Picnic festival between August 29-31 before heading to Portmerion, Wales to play Festival No. 6 over September 5-7.
