Belle And Sebastian to release live album

‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’ recordings available as a download

Belle and Sebastian
Belle & Sebastian are releasing download-only live album for charity.

Recorded during the 'Don’t Look Back' series of gigs in September this year, the album will feature the entirety of the band’s second album, 1996's ‘If You’re Feeling Sinister’.

Unlike the original studio release, the recording from the London Barbican features added strings.

“It was an album the band were never happy with,” a band source explained of the decision to make the live recording available. “They viewed it as a chance to get it right.”

The album is released on December 6 through iTunes and all proceeds go to the DEC Asia Quake Appeal.

The live album features:

'The Stars of Track And Field'
'Seeing Other People'
'Me and the Major'
'Like Dylan in the Movies'
'The Fox In The Snow'
'Get Me Away From Here, I’m Dying'
'If You’re Feeling Sinister'
'Mayfly'
'The Boy Done Wrong Again'
'Judy And The Dream Of Horses'

Meanwhile Belle & Sebastian release ‘The Life Pursuit’, their seventh studio album, on February 6.
