Ex-Belle And Sebastian member heads out on solo tour

Former Belle And Sebastian member Isobel Campbell is to head out on her first proper solo tour in February.

The singer will be performing songs from her new album ‘Ballad Of The Broken Seas’, along with solo tracks.

‘Ballad Of The Broken Seas’ is a collaboration with Queens Of The Stone Age collaborator Mark Lanegan, but he will not be performing at these shows.

However, Scottish indie musician Eugene Kelly of Vaselines/Eugenius fame will on hand to sing Lanegan’s parts.

‘Ballad Of The Broken Seas’ is released on V2 on January 30, with a download and 7” single ‘Ramblin’ Man' preceding it on January 23.
