Bands set to play free Trafalgar Square gig

A host of bands are set to play a free gig in Trafalgar Square on April 29.

The groups play the London landmark as part of a Love Music Hate Racism event taking place in the Square.

Acts performing include Belle & Sebastian, Boy Kill Boy, The Specials' Jerry Dammers, Roll Deep and Lethal Bizzle. The gig takes place between 2 and 7pm.

There will also be a series of speakers.

The concert is being held to discourage support for the British National Party ahead of the local council elections on May 4.
