Legendary 1980s pop show returns for the millennium...

TUBE TALES

Belle & Sebastian will unveil two new songs on The Apocalypse Tube on Sky One on November 20 at 9pm repeated on Channel 4 on January 1 just after midnight.

In his diary column for student newspaper The Glasgow University Guardian, Stuart Murdoch suggested that they'd do a medley: "I'll start with 'Thank You For The Music' (he wrote), then... 'The Day We Went to Bangor'..."

They will also recording a John Peel Show session in December which will go out in the new year. They are also about to finish work on their new album, the follow-up to 'The Boy With The Arab Strap'.
