Kinks, Belle & Sebastian on 'Juno' soundtrack

Sonic Youth, Cat Power also contribute

The Kinks, Belle & Sebastian and Sonic Youth have contributed songs to the soundtrack for the forthcoming film 'Juno'.

The comedy is due out in the US on December 5. It is already creating a stir with its theme of an unwanted teen pregnancy, and is among top nominees for the independent Spirit Awards announced earlier this week.

Also contributing to the soundtrack are Cat Power and Velvet Underground.

The album will be available digitally beginning December 11, and will hit US stores on January 15.
