Belle & Sebastian's Stuart Murdoch has revealed that he wants to open a taqueria in Glasgow.

The frontman admitted that opening a Mexican restaurant was something that could allow him to "carry on doing music".

"I have some ideas that I might have to act upon," Murdoch told NPR. "One of them is to open a taqueria in Glasgow. There's no decent Mexican food in Glasgow. I've had this idea for a while, to open a Belle & Sebastian taqueria."

He added: "I'm about to get serious about this, because this could be the thing that allows me to carry on doing music - to serve a decent taco".

Belle & Sebastian released their eighth studio album 'Belle & Sebastian Write About Love' today (October 11), and will head out on a tour of the UK in December.
