The band announce date at the legendary venue as part of the English leg of their UK tour...

BELLE AND SEBASTIAN will perform at the LONDON ROYAL ALBERT HALL as part of their first UK tour in three years, NME.COM can reveal.

The band, who previously announced details of a tour of their native Scotland throughout June, will perform shows in England later that month and throughout July.

Birmingham Alexandra Theatre (2)
Bournemouth Pavillion (3)
Ipswich Regent Theatre (5)

All tickets are priced £11, with the exception of London, which is priced £14-16.

Belle And Sebastian will release a new single, 'Jonathan David', on June 18 via Jeepster.

The single is backed by two new tracks - 'Take Your Carriage Clock And Shove It' and 'The Loneliness Of A Middle Distance Runner'. Another new single is anticipated this year with an album to follow in 2002.
