The Beta Band to to release Best Of compilation
The best of the now-defunct Scots outfit cherry picked...
THE BETA BAND are to release a retrospective album covering their eight-year career.
The band split in December 2004, issuing a statement that said “little return in terms of commercial success inevitably takes its toll”.
’Music: The Best Of The Beta Band’ is a double CD featuring highlights from the band’s four albums, ‘The Three EPs’, ‘The Beta Band’, ‘Hot Shots II’ and ‘Heroes To Zeros’ plus a live recording of one of their final sold-out shows at London Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
All four members of the band are working on new musical projects.
