BETA BAND FIRE BACK - AT THE DOUBLE!

The follow-up to 1999's eponymous debut will be with us in July - and NME.COM is first with all the details...

THE BETA BAND's new album is called 'HOTSHOTS II', and is slated for release on July 2 in the UK and the following day in the US, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.

As previously reported on NME.COM, the group have been working with R&B producer C-Swing on the follow-up to their 1999 eponymous debut at a studio in Hastings.

Sources close to the band who have heard the album describe it as "folky and futuristic" and "accessible yet adventurous".

The band are in the process of preparing tour dates, details of which will be announced soon.
