Beth Orton heads out on UK tour

Beth Orton has announced details of her second UK tour of the year.

The star hits the road in September, playing a six-date jaunt in support of new album ‘Comfort of Strangers’.

The new dates are:

Edinburgh Queen’s Hall (September 8)
Manchester Bridgewater Hall (9)
Cardiff St David’s Hall (10)
London Hammersmith Apollo (12)
Portsmouth Guildhall (13)
Birmingham Symphony Hall (14)


Tickets are on sale from Friday (June 9). For ticket availability go to NME.COM/Gigs.

Orton’s new single, a double-A side featuring ‘Shopping Trolley’ and ‘Comfort of Strangers’, is in stores on June 26. Both tracks are taken from the ‘Comfort of Strangers’ album.
