BETTIE SERVEERT DRUMMER QUITS

Bettie Serveert drummer Berend Dubbe has parted company with the Dutch indie rockers.

Although no official reason for the split has been given by official sources, US website muzic.com quotes the band's manager Tom Johnston as saying the drummer's departure was "bittersweet but now that it's done [Dubbe] feels a great sense of relief."

There is no word on what Dubbe's next musical move might be. Bettie Serveert have a temporary replacement in mind.
