Lyrics to Beyonce’s ‘Baby Boy’ not copied, say court
Lawsuit against the singer thrown out

A US court has thrown out a lawsuit claiming that Beyonce copied lyrics from another artist.
The lyrics to hit ‘Baby Boy’ were deemed “substantially dissimilar” to Jennifer Armour’s ‘Got A Little Bit Of Love For You’.
Armour claimed that she had previously sent a demo recording of the song to Beyonce’s label, Columbia Records.
A statement from Beyonce said: "It's unfortunate that lawsuits such as this one occur, but I am grateful and relieved to have this behind me and I am eager to move on."
