A charity gig to mark the 10th anniversary of the death of Diana, Princess Of Wales is set to be staged next year.
Potential performers had not been confirmed, but the likes of Beyonce, George Michael, Kylie Minogue and Sir Elton John were in consideration.
The event, which is reportedly to be held at Wembley Stadium, is set to be organised by Prince William and Prince Harry.
Former BBC correspondent Dickie Arbiter said: “It’s a good idea and I think the sooner they get it out as an official announcement, out in the public domain, that everybody can go about organising it, asking the right people.
“Pop stars have got full diaries for the next few years, so giving up a day to appear in a pop concert is going to take quite some planning."
The proceeds from the event would go to causes favoured by the Princess, BBC NEWS reports.
Diana, Princess Of Wales died in a car crash in Paris in 1997.
