Beyonce has topped the US Billboard chart with her third consecutive Number One debut.

The pop star's latest effort 'I Am … Sash Fierce' -- a double-disc set that showcases Beyonce on one disc and her Fierce "alter-ego" on the other -- sold 482,000 copies in its first week out.

Meanwhile, Nickelback earned the Number Two spot, selling 326,000 copies of 'Dark Horse', while American Idol champion David Cook's self-titled debut came in at Number Three, with 280,000 copies sold.

Taylor Swift's 'Fearless' and Il Divo's 'The Promise rounded out the top five.
