Beyonce reportedly exhibited some diva-like behaviour in Washington D.C. yesterday (January 19), refusing to walk just four blocks in high heels.
The singer was with husband Jay-Z as they finished rehearsals for the his inauguration eve concert at the Warner Theater.
According to the New York Daily News, Beyonce wouldn’t walk in high heels, forcing an intervention by the Secret Service, who gave the okay for the pair's driver to gain access to the closed-off street so they could return to their hotel.
The news story says that the temperatures were so cold in the city that Jay-Z was forced to ditch a plan to leave his hand prints in a block of cement intended to be placed outside the theatre, as the cement froze.
The concert last night saw performances from Young Jeezy and Mary J. Blige. Beyonce guested with Jay-Z on her hit 'Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)'.
