Beyonce to perform at 2009 MTV Awards
The singer joins Muse, Green Day next month

Beyonce has been added to the list of performers for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), scheduled to take place September 13.
The star, who has received nine VMA nominations, is slated to perform her current single 'Sweet Dreams'.
She joins Green Day, Muse, Pink and her husband, Jay-Z, on the list of performers, with additional acts to be announced in the weeks leading up to the event.
Also, rapper Wale and the band UCB have been announced as the official house band of the proceedings.
Comedian Russell Brand will host the event for the second time. The ceremony is set take place at New York's Radio City Music Hall.
