Beyonce is reportedly set to release her new album in June.

News of the singer working on new material with Odd Future and Sleigh Bells has been reported in recent months, and now it seems that she's hoping to pull it all together for a summer release.

Sony Music Australia chief Denis Handlin told the Daily Telegraph of the plan, adding that the singer was hoping to tour the album extensively.

"It was just amazing," he said of the songs he'd heard on the record. "She came in and played us six tracks from the album. She wants to do a big tour off the back of this record... these songs, the best description I can give is groundbreaking; she's gone to another level."

Beyonce is also set to headline the Glastonbury festival in June.

The new album will be her first since 2008's 'I Am... Sasha Fierce'.
