Beyonce's album '4' leaks online

Entire record emerges three weeks ahead of release date

Beyonce's album '4' has leaked online three weeks ahead of its scheduled release date.

The R&B singer’s cunningly-titled fourth solo album is not due for release until June 27.

However, the whole record had found its way onto the internet by last night (June 7).



The leak follows the emergence yesterday morning of the track 'Party', which is a duet with Andre 3000 from Outkast. Soon after, another song 'Countdown' had found its way onto the internet. The track features a sample of Boyz II Men’s 1991 hit 'Uhh Ahh'.

Shortly after that it emerged that a 12-track, CD-quality leak of the standard edition of the record had taken place. It is not yet known whether Beyonce's record company will respond to the leak by bringing forward the album's release date.

Beyonce headlines Glastonbury later this month. Meanwhile the next official single from '4' will be 'Best Thing I Never Had'.
