Beyonce is in the studio with R&B singer Miguel, it has been revealed.

The mystery collaboration was revealed by Miguel himself when he posted a picture of himself (above) with the 'Crazy In Love' star in the studio. Posting the picture onto Instagram, Miguel cryptically wrote: "... woah. creating for Virog's all weekend".

It is not yet clear what the collaboration is for, though fans are speculating online that the pair could be teaming up for a song on Beyonce's next album. Miguel released his latest album 'Kaleidoscope Dream' in September, so it is unlikely he is working on new solo material.

Meanwhile, Beyonce has confirmed that she will perform at the Super Bowl half-time show in 2013. Beyonce will appear at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans during the prestigious American football game.

The singer revealed the news by posting a picture of her face with the Super Bowl date, February 3, 2013, stuck to her cheeks in black tape – a nod to that worn by American football players. Alongside it were the words 'Countdown To Touchdown' on her official website, Beyonce.com, and her Facebook page.

Madonna was this year's Super Bowl entertainer, playing the event alongside guests Cee Lo Green, Nicki Minaj and LMFAO as well as a controversial turn from Brit rapper MIA, who raised her middle finger to one of the television cameras.
