Beyonce will reportedly release new material prior to her performance at the Super Bowl half-time performance in 2013.
The singer will provide the mid-game entertainment during the culmination of the American Football season in February next year and, despite having a huge number of hit singles to pick from, will reportedly have new music to share with fans.
Speaking to Billboard, producer and song writer The-Dream confirmed that a new album is being made already and told fans to expect new music soon. "She's got her stuff going." he said, before adding: "She took the summer to start recording, and now she's in a place where she's ready to start gearing up to reveal her plan."
The-Dream, who worked extensively on Beyonce's 2011 album '4', went on to say: "She's already gearing up to get ready to put stuff out. I'm sure there will probably be a couple records you hear before the Super Bowl gets here."
Beyonce confirmed her appearance at next year's Super Bowl earlier this year by posting a picture of her face with the Super Bowl date, February 3, 2013, stuck to her cheeks with black tape, in true American football style.
Madonna, alongside MIA and Nicki Minaj, performed the famous show this year. The Rolling Stones, Prince, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen have all filled the slot in previous years.
